Inspiration
“Mitten Made Originals is about me, it describes me as a person. I’m from Michigan, I try to be original, be my own person, my brand, my art everything I do. I use different motivational phrases that are like, ‘What are you made of?’ I also use the number 19 a lot in my brand because both my daughters were born on the 19th, and Mitten Made will hopefully be passed down to them one day.” Oshun is engulfed with projects that he pours himself into to build his legacy through the Mitten Made Originals brand. A self-made Pontiac native inspires the community through all of his mediums and his commitment to the community is not matched by many. “I do Mitten Made to give back to my community, having something they can wear and show off, can make them feel good.” “My art, my graphic designs, I build websites, I also help brand other companies. I like helping people, I’m a really resourceful person. The only reason we were created as humans is to help people, we weren’t meant to be selfish. I plan to use my brand and my art to help inspire kids, so they have something they can relate to.”
