About

E & K is a collaboration of Pontiac power couple, Earl and Kathy. They pooled their individual talents into one retail store that, much like their relationship, started in their hometown of Pontiac. Kathy’s talents are business management, but fashion is her passion.  Earl is an oil painting artist who has a talent for portraits and soon will be filling the gallery space they are building out in their space at 71 N. Saginaw.  E and K started out as one table at a local flea market. From there, they grew into a bigger space and moved to Southfield.  Kathy said their space in Southfield was just missing something, and after a year, they grew and moved back to Pontiac.

Why Pontiac?

“People warned us saying, you’re never going to make it, there isn’t enough foot traffic in Pontiac. It didn’t make sense for us to be anywhere else, our family is here, and we met here. Pontiac is our home and so we stepped out on faith.”

Inspiration

Kathy has such a passion for the women she dresses: “I love to dress women, I love my returning clients.” She loves helping them feel good about themselves through fashion. Kathy started with jewelry and purses and has moved on to bringing in fashions for full figured women. E & K are celebrating their 5th anniversary in December and are participating in their 3rd Small Business Saturday here is Pontiac.

Small Business Saturday posts are made possible with the support of LocalHop and The Dobrusin Law Firm.
