The Main Street Pontiac Small Business Relief Grant is intended to promote involvement in the downtown community as a collective that supports economic development for the common good. The program is designed to accompany the City of Pontiac’s aspirations for prosperity, as well as the retention and expansion of the downtown corridor. Main Street Pontiac looks forward to serving the community in mitigating the negative effects of COVID-19.

Get up to $2,500 in a matching grant towards your marketing, signs, or business upgrades. In an effort to support the attraction, retention, and growth of small businesses in our historic downtowns and commercial corridors, Main Street Oakland County (MSOC) has partnered with Genisys Credit Union to create the Spirit of Main Street Micro Business Startup Grant Program.

Get up to $10,000 as a grant towards your business, or business idea. Small businesses, through a competitive application process, may receive up to $10,000 in the form of a grant.  Every year, one $50,000 to $100,000 grant may be awarded for a game-changing idea that produces a significant number of jobs or will clearly attract people to visit Pontiac.

Get up to $10,000 in a matching grant for improvements, restoration, or updates to your façade or storefront. Main Street Pontiac has established a Façade Grant Program to reimburse applicants for approved façade work on downtown buildings. Approved applicants shall be reimbursed 50% of the eligible costs of façade work up to $10,000 upon completion of the project.
